Choosing a wedding venue in Austin and the Hill Country area is definitely not one of the easiest decisions for a Bride. The options are endless. Not only should the venue fit into her style and vision but she also has to take budget and capacity into consideration. Also, most venues are gorgeous so then the question of ascetics comes into play. Does she want her Big Day to be at Natures Point on Beautiful Lake Travis or enjoy the proximity of The Woman’s Federation club located downtown Austin. I’m proud to have worked at most of those Hill Country, Austin and San Antonio wedding venues and I can say each and everyone has their own charm and I would be happy to get married in any of them. Here are a few great questions to ask: How many people can this location accommodate? What dates are available in the month I’m considering? How much is the deposit and is it refundable? What’s the payment plan for the entire bill? What’s your weather contingency plan for outdoor spaces? Can I hold my ceremony here, too? Do you offer on-site coordinator? Most Venues get booked out way in advance so make sure you contact them as soon as possible to ensure you can have your wedding at the preferable location. The right wedding venue can help set the mood for the entire celebration as well as help capture the spirit and personality of the newlyweds.
